What do I want to be when I grow up?

If this hadn't been a question I'd been asking myself for my entire adult life, I would call this a mid-life crisis.

I was in the middle of writing a long tirade on depression and how it fucks with my head, my relationships, my life, and my joy. Instead, I think I'll just leave it at:

Depression. It Sucks.

What in the hell? It's been ages since I posted. I've been neglectful of my bloggity blogging for various reasons. None of them interesting enough to go into it here.

I love Halloween, but have so far had a hard time getting into it this year. Then, I found this old photo from three years ago and am in love with the idea again. Well, cuz I'm in love with myself as a hawt witch. (((Makes out with self for a moment.))) I'm working on the 30th...the night that most stuff is going on, but I think I can dress up on the shuttle. I'm plotting right now...

Cooking & Thread

The thing about cooking and bragging is that when you brag, you have to follow it up. I was just telling the new fella (blink blink blink starry eyes) about how I make kick-ass fried chicken. He got a little blink blink blink starry eyes going himself and so now I'm tied in. The thing is...fried chicken isn't quick and makes a mess. I guess I'll do it anyway though, because gosh, he's swell.

I've recently ordered and bought embroidery supplies. I haven't embroidered since I was about 10, but it just suddenly sounded appealing AND I have a couple of friends who are going to join me. We'll see if my skills have improved along with my hand - eye coordination.
